Habitual Liar

Your pseudo psychology
weaved webs in my mind to deceive
Allowing me to believe
you belonged only to me
True colors which were hidden, shown through
You are not the person I thought I knew
Shame on me, double for you
I will keep my head up
and stay true
Patiently waiting
for the right companion to come through
approved
My mistake with you
a blur
You never followed through
someone I thought I knew

Should I have continued to pretend?
Your promises took on its own evolution
Never ending morph from what was truth
became a lie
Leaving me dying inside
You spoke dreams, which never came to reality
Your touch
 Loving words blinded me

Fools Gold!

But now I know
The outside sparkles
The inside so so cold

Should I have listened?
to line after line
verse after verse
lies disbursed
lies that you tell
It used to hurt like hell

No more lies
no more lines
after time
all wounds heal

your last lie sealed the deal

I'll be alone
